Acquisitions In May 2012, the Company acquired Everlasting Granite Memorial Co., Inc., ("Everlasting") a supplier of granite memorials, columbariums and private mausoleum estates. The transaction was structured as an asset purchase and was designed to extend Matthews' presence in the broad granite market.
